Абстракт
On the base of the top-of-atmosphere radiance calculations carried out with the use of an isotropic version of the Cox-Munk model of sea surface slopes distribution
and the Sobolev model of light scattering in the atmosphere, the sun glint quantitative characteristics such as its length, maximal width and maximal contrast are
presented for measurements of scanning satellite instruments in the visible and near-infrared ranges from 0.4 to 1.6 mu m for sea wind speeds from 2 to 14 m/ s and
atmospheric aerosol optical thicknesses from 0.03 to 0.33.
