Абстракт
The present research represents a continuation of the study of the propagation of long waves in branched bays. The object of the investigation is a model bay, which has the characteristic dimensions, average depth and configuration of Dvoynaya Bay, located in the system of Sevastopol bays. Two types of bays were considered: a symmetrical bay, which consists of two identical bays, and an asymmetrical bay, which includes two bays of different lengths. Energy spectra of sea level fluctuations in the water area of bays were obtained during the propagation of long waves in them—such as a tsunami, as well as waves in the form of a soliton. It is shown that in symmetrical bays, tsunami waves can initiate level fluctuations with periods of 2.53, 6.12 and 3.62 min. The appearance of asymmetry influences the increase in the mode composition of level fluctuations in the bays and the appearance of peaks with periods of 7.79 and 15.39 min. When a wave propagates in the form of a soliton, in the case of symmetry, two peaks appear with periods of 2.53 and 1.99 min with a predominance of the first period. The difference in the length of adjacent bays leads to the emergence of other seiche oscillation modes with a predominant period of 7.79 min
