Абстракт
The upper ocean responses in the wakes of moving tropical cyclones are still an active area of analytical, numerical and experimental research efforts. Satellite data are essential to serve studying these phenomena. Together with a simplified model to model the upper ocean thermohaline response, satellite data are analyzed to more specifically assess self-similarity properties of surface temperature and salinity anomalies. Semi-empirical parametrisation for temperature and salinity anomalies under moving tropical cyclones are then suggested. © 2022 IEEE.
